Utah Tech University

Taking responsibility for one’s health and well-being is an essential part of a person’s ability to succeed at UT and in life. The UT Booth Wellness Center’s experienced, fully licensed medical and mental health practitioners offer wellness programming.

The wellness programming provided delivers educational services and information to teach wellness-based approaches to life, enhance coping skills, and encourage the development of healthy lifestyles and behaviors. The UT Booth Wellness Center provides these services to help the students, staff, and faculty of UT engage wellness, facilitate the pursuit of academic, career and personal goals, and pursue “active learning. active life.”

We’re offering an opportunity for students to check-in to discuss any struggles they’re having while we have remote access to campus. Tune in to discuss what is working for you, some challenges you’re facing, and engage in some hands-on techniques to help you cope with your stress.

Every Wednesday at 12 pm.

QPR-Suicide Awareness & Prevention

The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world. This is a national certification and those who complete the training are certified as a GateKeeper for 3 years. This training takes 2 hours and is offered for students, staff and faculty with groups of 5 or more at no cost.
